The teachers are using my form, but when they go to the student responses on the Google Spreadsheet...the most current students added to the list are added to the bottom. I was hoping to be able to have all new students and entries at the top of the spreadsheet. Is that possible? I was able to arrange the sheet from Z-A using the date and time stamp category, but it doesn't seem to save that "sort setting". After I organize them, all of the new responses enter at the bottom of the time stamps.
Ahhh... I do love an organized person 😍. YES, of course I can help you with this! This time I will explain a la video:
Here is the formula you'll paste in:
=sort('Form Responses 1'!A:C,1,0)
The "sister sheet," as we'll call it, is completely dependent on the original (now-hidden) sheet. You won't be able to make any changes to the data on this new one; any changes you make will have to be done on the original Form Responses tab. That is not because of the protection, but because the Form Responses are simply feeding into the Data tab.
**SIGH** I just LOVE Sheets!!! 😍
