After creating all of the Drivers Ed. tests as Google Forms, I was told they sent me the wrong tests. They sent me the correct ones, but they have been scanned and are formatted as two giant PDFs. How can I make it so I can copy and paste those questions instead of retyping all of the questions by hand?
First answer: You should be able to still copy and paste from a PDF. Sometimes they copy weird, though. Any chance you could send me a sample so I could mess around with it and find a possible work-around?
Second answer: What did they do?! Take an artistic, angled photo of the old test and upload it as a PDF? That's a horrible copy! Can you give me some time to work on this?
Third answer: SHOOT. I have played and played and played with this, and I haven't found a good way to do it. There is a PDF to Docx converter I found that worked, but it would only do the first two pages for free - after that you have to pay. I think the fact that it's a scanned document (and a crappy scan at that!) means that it's treated more like an image than a text document. You'll probably have to find some OCR (optical character recognition) software to extract the text. I feel like this is now a personal challenge. I will keep looking!
Fourth answer: DUH. I gave myself an idea when I sent you that last message: GOOGLE KEEP!
BY THE WAY! Since the answers are all on their own separate lines (when you extract them into Keep from the screenshot), when you copy them (all at once) and go to paste them into the Form, they will each go in on their own lines! That should save you a ton of time!
