We did the Google Keep Scavenger Hunt you showed us, but our pictures for the list went to the camera roll. WOW - you made it look so easy yesterday! What did we miss?
OHH! This is one of my all-time favorite activities, and as you may already know, Google Keep is one of my all-time favorite tools! This awesome G-Suite (horrible name!!) feature is WAY more than just for notes! Differentiate groups, generate creative writing, make collaborative check-lists for projects, record audio notes to check for fluency . . . the list goes on and on! But my favorite has got to be photos because you can keep them all in one place, AND they won't hog up space on your device!
In this class, they must have done something different... which is totally fine because there are always at least 3 ways to do everything in Google! ;-)
To prevent the photos from ending up on the camera roll, first make sure they are actually using the Keep app (and not going to it from the browser on the device... even though that's fine to do). Once they open a note (either a new one OR the one they started on the computer), then you will see the plus sign in the bottom left-hand corner. Here is a video to show you how it will look:
The other alternative is just to take the pictures with the camera on the device. If they do that, then instead of "take photo," they will select "choose photo" in the Keep note. They'll just have to remember to delete the photos after camera roll when they are finished. No biggie!
